Job summary
Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced ETL Engineer with deep expertise in Java Spring Batch to support a large-scale modernization initiative focused on decommissioning Informatica workflows. This remote, contract role offers a competitive W2 pay rate and requires 6+ years of Java/Spring Batch experience.
You will analyze legacy ETL processes, translate complex logic into modern data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable ETL
Qualifications
- 6+ years of Java and Spring Batch development experience.
- Experience designing and migrating large-scale ETL/batch apps.
- Proficiency with CI/CD and cloud AWS services.
- Strong SQL and relational databases knowledge.
- Experience with Informatica preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing Informatica workflows and ETL processes to understand business logic.
- Design, develop, and optimize Java Spring Batch applications for enterprise-scale ETL work.
- Translate legacy ETL workflows into modern batch processing solutions.
- Develop robust data transformation, validation, and reconciliation logic.
- Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and application teams to define migration requirements.
- Create technical documentation for ETL workflows and migration approaches.
