Job summary

optiBPO is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate project estimates by gathering data, analyzing costs, and producing detailed bids. You will collaborate with contractors to assess risks and ensure budgets align with client expectations.

The ideal candidate has strong math skills, experience with Timberline/HCSS HeavyBid, and excellent communication. This remote AU-shift role offers growth and a pathway to impactful projects across regions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an estimator or similar position.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; proficient with estimation methods.
• Familiar with Timberline and HCSS HeavyBid software.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and cost drivers.
• Gather data from sites, warehouses, and vendors.
• Analyze labor, materials, production times for estimates.
• Prepare and submit detailed estimates or bids to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Perform risk analysis and budgeting support.
• Provide planning input on schedules and manpower.
