Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Manager I – Estimating Engineering for wind/high voltage projects. You will lead a team of engineers delivering safe, high-quality solutions for utility-scale wind, solar, and storage facilities.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Estimating, Supply Chain, Construction, and Owners to meet schedule, safety, and client expectations across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering from ABET-accredited college or equivalent.
• PE license, PMP or equivalent credential required and must be obtained within one year of hire if not held.
• Seven or more years of progressive engineering experience in related energy/construction industries with demonstrated leadership.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Travel up to 25–50% of time, depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full engineering lifecycle from pre-construction estimating to project award and design delivery.
• Ensure designs meet safety, constructability, and client expectations while lowering cost.
• Guide Lead Engineers and staff, supporting projects and estimating-phase deliverables.
• Review and vet equipment and materials; coordinate with Supply Chain, Estimating, and Construction.
