Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Manager I – Estimating Engineering – Wind/High Voltage to lead a team delivering safe, high‑quality engineering solutions for utility‑scale wind projects and high‑voltage facilities for solar and storage. You’ll coach engineers, drive project execution and improve practices across departments to meet objectives and client expectations.

You will oversee the entire lifecycle from pre‑construction estimating to project closeout, ensuring designs meet cost, schedule and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering from an ABET‑accredited college, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent credential required and must be obtained within one year of hire if not already held.
• Seven or more years of progressive engineering experience in related energy or construction industries, with demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full engineering lifecycle from pre‑construction estimating through project award, design delivery, construction support and closeout.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Estimating, Integrated Supply Chain, Construction and Owners to ensure safe, on‑time deliverables.
• Provide guidance to Lead/Senior Engineers and Engineer I/II, supporting project and estimating deliverables.
