Job summary

Milan Institute-Nampa is seeking an Esthetician Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and guide students toward successful esthetics careers. You will design engaging lesson plans and provide theoretical and hands-on training in skincare, waxing, facials, and makeup.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of esthetics experience, a relevant license, and a passion for teaching. Day and evening classes with partial remote availability support a dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Esthetician or cosmetology license in good standing required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing esthetician.
• Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of esthetics principles, practices, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and passion for educating estheticians.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in instructional technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum and objectives.
• Provide theoretical and practical instruction in skincare techniques, facials, waxing, makeup, and other esthetician procedures.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters engagement and growth.
• Demonstrate and model proper techniques, safety practices, and industry standards in esthetics.
• Supervise and provide hands-on guidance during practical sessions and labs.
• Assess student progress via evaluations, exams, and projects with constructive feedback.
• Identify and address individual learning needs and support students requiring help.
• Stay current with industry trends to keep the curriculum relevant.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe classroom and lab environment.
• Mentor and inspire students as professional role models.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program improvements.
