Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an ESE Coordinator to provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities under IEPs.

This role collaborates with families, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to promote academic achievement, social-emotional development, independence, and successful participation in the school community. Qualified candidates hold a valid Special Education teaching license/certification and will monitor progress, maintain IEP

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching license/certification in Special Education or eligibility for certification.
• Knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Experience with diverse learning, behavioral, developmental, and/or emotional needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans based on students' IEP goals, strengths, needs, and learning styles.
• Provide specialized instruction with appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions.
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely IEP documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and student success in the least restrictive environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and educational needs.
