Job summary

MCS Group - USA | Your Specialist Recruitment Firm is seeking a hands-on ERP consultant to deliver end-to-end implementations for customers in the lumber and building-materials sector. You will lead discovery, configure the ERP, migrate data, validate with SQL, and manage go-live and post-live support.

The role combines direct customer interaction with technical ERP work, requiring ownership across the full lifecycle and collaboration with PMs, developers and third-party providers.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ERP implementations directly for customers.
• Ability to lead at least three implementations from discovery through go-live.
• Strong practical SQL skills and data migration experience.
• Knowledge of APIs and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to understand customer processes, systems and priorities.
• Configure the ERP platform around operational requirements.
• Extract, transform, validate and migrate data from legacy systems.
• Use SQL for data validation, reporting, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Configure APIs and support integrations with external platforms.
• Work with customers through testing and go-live preparation.
• Create reports, documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, developers and third-party providers.
• Support customers during go-live and stabilization period.
• Advise customers when a process should be simplified rather than customised.
