Job summary

Aquatech, a global leader in water and industrial process technology, seeks a Process Equipment Selection Engineer to size and select pumps, blowers, heaters, mixers, and instruments for water treatment projects.

This remote role (open to relocation to Canonsburg, PA) requires reviewing specs, preparing datasheets, coordinating vendor quotes, and releasing documents through SAP. Strong CAD/MS Office and SAP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in equipment sizing/selection for water treatment is required.
• Experience reviewing specifications and preparing datasheets for equipment and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Review standard and project-specific specifications and note non-standard requirements.
• Check process calculations and pump capacities for metering and centrifugal pumps.
• Size and prepare datasheets for equipment (blowers, pumps, heaters, mixers) and instruments (pressure, temperature, flow).
• Prepare datasheets for control valves and miscellaneous items; maintain instrument lists and load lists.
• Coordinate vendor quotes, engineering comments, and approvals; release documents to document control and SAP.
• Meet project deadlines and participate in vendor design coordination meetings.
