Job summary

Aquatech International is seeking a Process Equipment Selection Engineer to join our engineering team. This full-time role can be performed remotely or with relocation to Canonsburg, PA, and requires a BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience.

You will review specifications, size equipment data sheets, prepare instrument and valve datasheets, coordinate with vendors, and release documents through SAP while supporting multiple departments globally.

Qualifications

• Able to read, analyze, and interpret engineering documents, including P&ID, PFD, and engineering calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive attitude and good organizational skills.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks or projects with attention to detail.
• Able to use CAD and MS Office at a high level of proficiency.
• Able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of problems.
• Writing specifications of engineering equipment; attention to detail, and good written communication skills.
• Prior knowledge of SAP is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in the project-related industry with technical buying/selling or execution of projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and calculate pump capacities and sizes.
• Size selection and prepare data sheets for equipment and instruments.
• Prepare datasheets for control valves, heaters, mixers, etc.
• Prepare documents: instrument list, load list, lube list, and attachments.
• Release engineering documents to Document Control and SAP requisitions.
• Communicate with Mechanical, Electrical, Process Control, and Purchasing teams.
• Interact with vendors, evaluate quotes, and support project budget.
• Lead vendor design coordination meetings and capture engineering comments.
