Job summary

Aquatech is seeking a Process Equipment Selection Engineer to size and select equipment for water treatment projects. The role can be performed remotely or by relocating to our Canonsburg, PA office, with standard hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, strong CAD and SAP skills, and a proven ability to review vendor proposals, coordinate with internal teams, and deliver accurate datasheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Five years of experience minimum.
• Ability to read P&ID, PFD, and calculations.
• Experience sizing equipment and data sheets.
• Vendor evaluation and quotes experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and note non-standard requirements.
• Check process calculations and pump capacities.
• Size and prepare data sheets for equipment and instruments.
• Prepare datasheets for valves, sensors, and control components.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Purchasing teams.
• Lead vendor meetings and evaluate quotes.
• Ensure document submission deadlines are met.
• Support shop queries and project budgets.
