Job summary

IMI is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to install, service and support MILCURE wheel refinishing and ALUMINATOR aluminum wheel cleaning systems across the continental U.S. and Canada.

The role involves travel 60-65% and providing onsite training, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance while collaborating with Sales & Service teams. Candidates should have 3-5 years of industrial equipment experience, a high mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver's license; a technical/ trade school

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school preferred.
• 3–5 years in maintenance/repair of industrial equipment; experience with blasting equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel 60-65% with some weekends and evenings required.
• Troubleshoot equipment operating and maintenance issues with customers by telephone and guide them through adjustments and minor repair procedures.
• Document all activities in CRM to increase efficiency in daily time management, provide management with visibility/reporting and identification of sales opportunities.
• Work with Sales & Service Team on advising users about equipment operating issues and completion of minor repairs/adjustments.
• Available for emergency and service work, including travel to customer site to resolve issues.
• Work toward satisfactory solutions to major issues which will include site visits and discussion with leadership and Sales & Service Team.
