Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist II Data Analytics (Remote) to support Global Epidemiology within Clinical Sciences. The role develops and executes data and statistical analysis plans, delivers actionable findings, and contributes to observational study design using real-world data sources.

It requires expertise in SAS, SQL, R, and Aetion, with strong communication to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Master's level degree in epidemiology or related field with strong analytical skills.
PhD preferred for senior expertise and leadership.
Experience with real-world data and complex epidemiology analyses.

Responsibilities

Apply epidemiology research techniques to address drug safety questions.
Access and utilize public and private real-world data resources.
Develop and manage data and statistical analysis plans for epidemiology databases.
Perform complex analyses and clearly communicate results to stakeholders.
Contribute to observational study design including registries.
Translate sales data into exposure data across key factors.
Support safety and regulatory documents with epidemiology data outputs.
Conduct literature reviews on real-world data analytics methods.
Provide guidance on epidemiology study concepts and study protocols.
Utilize SAS, SQL, R, and Aetion for data analysis and visualization.
Offer user support and training for analytics tools.
