Job summary

Vita Global Sciences, a Kelly Company, is seeking an Epidemiologist for a remote opportunity to support a Medical Device client. The role involves designing and conducting real-world evidence surveillance and safety studies to ensure EU-MDR compliance and to identify new data sources for device safety monitoring.

The position requires an advanced degree in Epidemiology or related field, 3–4 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in R, SQL, and SAS.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Epidemiology, Health Outcomes, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant epidemiology experience in industry or CRO.
• Strong knowledge of standard statistical software (R, SQL, SAS).
• Experience with healthcare real-world data sources (claims data, EHR, hospital data).
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct real-world evidence surveillance and safety studies for post-market activities.
• Write study protocols and reports; apply diverse analytical methods to various databases.
• Collaborate with Medical Safety, Clinical Research, and Medical Affairs.
• Identify new data sources for medical device safety surveillance with partners.
• Support initiatives across medical device business areas and cross-functional teams.
