Job summary

IQVIA’s Sponsor-Dedicated FSP team invites an Epidemiologist to lead real-world evidence work for an inflammation program in early clinical development. You will independently execute observational studies, describe disease trajectories, assess feasibility, and contribute to protocols and study reports.

You will partner with a single sponsor across time zones, delivering regulatory-grade deliverables and study materials with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• PhD in Epidemiology required.
• Experience applying epidemiology and real-world evidence to Phase 1-3 clinical development programs.
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute epidemiology and real-world evidence activities supporting inflammation programs in early clinical development, including Phases 1-3.
• Use real-world data and epidemiologic methods to describe the natural history of disease and characterize inflammation disease landscapes.
• Conduct feasibility assessments to evaluate research questions, available data, study populations, endpoints, and potential study approaches.
• Develop and contribute to study protocols, analysis plans, study reports, clinical study reports, and other scientific deliverables.
• Support regulatory-grade real-world evidence studies, applying sound epidemiologic methods and appropriate documentation standards.
• Perform hands-on study execution, translating research objectives into deliverables.
• Interpret study findings and communicate methods, assumptions, limitations, and results clearly to sponsor stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Manage assigned work proactively with limited supervision.
• Collaborate within a sponsor-dedicated model across functions and time zones.
