IQVIA's Sponsor-Dedicated FSP team seeks an Epidemiologist to support an inflammation program in early clinical development. You will independently execute real-world evidence work, apply epidemiologic methods, and produce high-quality protocols and reports.

You will work with one sponsor across time zones, gaining deep therapy knowledge. This home-based role on the West Coast offers flexibility and opportunities to advance patient outcomes through real-world data.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Epidemiology is required.
• Demonstrated experience applying epidemiology and real-world evidence to Phase 1-3 clinical development programs.
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
• Knowledge of regulatory-grade real-world evidence expectations and rigorous observational research methods.
• Demonstrated epidemiology experience in inflammation or a closely related therapeutic area.
• Experience conducting natural history, disease landscape, and study feasibility work using real-world data.
• Experience developing study protocols, clinical study reports, and related epidemiology deliverables.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned work, and execute with limited supervision.
• Strong scientific writing, analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Independently execute epidemiology and real-world evidence activities supporting inflammation programs in early clinical development, including Phases 1-3.
• Use real-world data and epidemiologic methods to describe the natural history of disease and characterize inflammation disease landscapes.
• Conduct feasibility assessments to evaluate research questions, available data, study populations, endpoints, and potential study approaches.
• Develop and contribute to study protocols, analysis plans, study reports, clinical study reports, and other scientific deliverables.
• Support regulatory-grade real-world evidence studies, applying sound epidemiologic methods and appropriate documentation standards.
• Perform hands-on study execution, including translating assigned research objectives into clear, accurate, and timely deliverables.
• Interpret study findings and communicate methods, assumptions, limitations, and results clearly to sponsor stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Manage assigned work proactively and resolve execution issues with limited supervision or day-to-day direction.
• Work effectively within a sponsor-dedicated model, collaborating with sponsor teams across functions and time zones.
