Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Epidemiologist to support a sponsor-dedicated inflammation program in early clinical development. You will independently execute real-world evidence projects using epidemiologic methods and RWD to describe disease history and landscapes.

You will develop study protocols and clinical study reports, work with cross-functional teams across time zones, and communicate methods and results clearly to sponsors.

Qualifications

• PhD in Epidemiology is required.
• Experience applying epidemiology and real-world evidence to Phase 1-3 programs.
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
• Knowledge of regulatory-grade real-world evidence expectations and rigorous observational methods.
• Experience in inflammation or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute epidemiology and real-world evidence activities supporting inflammation programs in early clinical development, including Phases 1-3.
• Use real-world data to describe disease history and characterize inflammation landscapes.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and evaluate study populations, endpoints, and data availability.
• Develop protocols, analysis plans, study reports, and epidemiology deliverables.
• Support regulatory-grade RWE studies with rigorous methods and documentation.
• Translate research objectives into clear, timely deliverables and interpret findings for sponsors.
