Job summary

SSM Health is seeking an Epic Training Specialist to facilitate and deliver training across the organization. The role focuses on preparing and evaluating training to meet technical needs, maintaining relationships with operations, IT, leadership, users, and vendors.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, Epic certification, and work in a remote IL setting with a 40-hour work week. Strong knowledge of LMS, SharePoint, and EHR Epic is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education.
• Three years' experience.
• Epic certification or accreditation in one or more modules.

Responsibilities

• Configures, supports and maintains Epic Training applications.
• Develops training curriculum, resources, and delivery for Epic.
• Analyzes workflows and user competencies with SMEs and analysts.
• Designs and maintains Epic training environment, scenarios and materials.
• Assesses training data to improve curriculum effectiveness.
• Plans and coordinates training environment testing.
• Supports small teams or projects with managed risk and tasks.
• Acts as IT liaison for Epic functionality training and support.
• Uses LMS, SharePoint, MS Teams and authoring tools for best practices.
