Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking an Associate Architect - Software Development (Epic Integrations) to design and implement scalable healthcare data exchanges across HL7 v2 and FHIR, integrating Epic systems with external partners.

You will lead ingestion pipelines, ensure security via OAuth 2.0, and drive data quality, privacy guardrails, and performance tuning in hybrid cloud environments. Remote-friendly with USA-friendly location.

Qualifications

Epic modules (Ambulatory, Inpatient, MyChart) and integration technologies (FHIR, HL7 v2, Epic Interconnect, Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle) for compliant healthcare data exchanges.
Design enterprise SaaS microservices using ReactJS, Python APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Django), and AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS).
End-to-end architecture experience—from requirements to database interactions and translating complex workflows.

Responsibilities

Architect, test, and maintain robust batch and stream ingestion pipelines handling HL7 v2 and FHIR messages.
Establish secure, automated server-to-server connections with hospital EHRs using OAuth 2.0.
Implement data quality checks, schema evolution, automated error handling, and real-time data transformations.
Ensure ingestion channels comply with PHI/HIPAA, SOC 2, and privacy frameworks with full auditability.
Tune performance and optimize distributed queries across on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.
