Job summary

Eon is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer specializing in Epic integrations. You will design, develop, and maintain deep Epic EHR connections to enable real-time data exchange and workflow interoperability.

The role requires strong .NET/C# skills and hands-on work with AWS in enterprise data pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HL7/FHIR standards, manage Epic Vendor Services, and optimize API-based integrations while ensuring HIPAA compliance and

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in healthcare system integrations, focusing on deep Epic platform integration and Epic vendor services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proficient in .NET (C#) development.
Experience deploying integration solutions in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Hands-on experience with core AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, ECS).
Deep understanding of HL7, FHIR, CCD, and CDA interoperability standards.
Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for enterprise data exchange.
Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data transformation, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain deep Epic EHR integrations for real-time data exchange.
Implement and optimize HL7, FHIR, and Epic APIs across client environments.
Manage Epic Vendor Services and Epic App Market configurations.
Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to meet complex Epic integration requirements.
Build and manage APIs, Epic Interconnect, and middleware for secure data transfer.
