BigRio is seeking an Epic / FHIR Integration Engineer to own the end-to-end Epic integration for a digital health platform currently in production at major health systems. The role covers SMART on FHIR launch, read/write path, and site-by-site activation across partners.

You will deliver a standard non-production Epic environment SMART launch within 60 days, handle security reviews, multi-tenant configuration, and collaboration with provider organizations.

Qualifikationen

• Production Epic FHIR write-path delivery in a live health-system environment.
• SMART on FHIR engineering with PKCE and US Core R4.
• Epic client ID registration and multi-site activation.
• Experience navigating health system security and informatics reviews.
• Backend ownership on AWS with strong schema-level correctness guarantees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-team discussions.

Aufgaben

• Build a portable SMART on FHIR launch across Epic organizations.
• List apps in Epic Showroom.
• Extend read context with order, observations, medications, department, and provider.
• Implement write path with observations, results reports, and data playback with idempotency.
• Develop a backend service client for filing verification and utilization reporting.
• Design multi-tenant configuration with a single codebase per organization.
• Lead Vendor Services onboarding and security/informatics conversations.
• Deliver a standard non-production Epic environment SMART launch within 60 days.
• Navigate non-production constraints as part of role.
