ClinDCast, LLC is seeking an experienced FHIR/API Integration Engineer to design and build healthcare interoperability solutions integrating with Epic Systems and the Epic Payer Platform.

You will develop HL7 FHIR APIs (R4), implement OAuth2/mTLS, and manage API gateway operations to support payer-provider workflows.

Remote/onsite options may be available, with opportunities to contribute across health IT projects and ensure reliable production support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of API/FHIR integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR (R4), REST, and JSON.
• Experience with OAuth2, mTLS, and API gateway tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage HL7 FHIR APIs (R4 preferred).
• Build integrations for Eligibility (270/271), Prior Authorization (278), Bulk Data, and Document Reference.
• Design and implement integrations with Epic and Epic Payer Platform.
• Manage API Gateway (routing, throttling, monitoring).
• Implement security protocols: OAuth2, mTLS, SMART on FHIR.
• Handle error management, logging, monitoring, and production support.

We are seeking a skilled FHIR/API Integration Engineer to design and build healthcare interoperability solutions integrating with Epic Systems and Epic Payer Platform .

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage HL7 FHIR APIs (R4 preferred).

Build integrations for Eligibility (270/271), Prior Authorization (278), Bulk Data, and Document Reference.

Design and implement integrations with Epic and Epic Payer Platform.

Manage API Gateway (routing, throttling, monitoring).

Implement OAuth2, mTLS, and SMART on FHIR security protocols.

Handle error management, logging, monitoring, and production support.

Required Skills

4+ years of API/FHIR integration experience.

Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR (R4), REST, and JSON.

Experience with OAuth2, mTLS, and API Gateway tools.

Understanding of healthcare workflows (270/271, 278 transactions preferred).

Experience in payer-provider integrations preferred.
