Children’s Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a Clinical IT Applications role to design, test, implement and maintain hospital and outpatient software solutions. You will research and resolve system issues, work with clinics to support practice changes, and ensure reliable EMR functionality.

The position emphasizes end-user training, on-call duties, and collaboration with multiple departments to optimize workflows and data integrity.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in Information Technology or healthcare field
Previous Epic clinical application experience preferred
Previous systems super user and/or trainer experience preferred
Incumbents must obtain and maintain Epic certification within 9 months of hire

Responsabilités

Analyze, design, configure, test and maintain clinical IT applications to support department goals and end-users' needs.
Research, analyze and resolve system and user problems; document issues and resolutions.
Build relationships with customers through effective communication and collaboration.
Participate on project teams to define requirements for changes to existing systems and optimize workflows.
Assist with end-user training and development as needed
Participate in on-call and monthly maintenance activities.
