Qualifications

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field, preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in system validation or integration, preferably in the Healthcare industry, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Epic Bridges, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Must pass all Epic certifications with a passing grade within three tries. Capable knowledge in: HL7 standards and capable understanding of integration methodology and architecture; Testing tools including API tools (Postman, SoapUI), HL7 validators or stimulators; Data mapping; Regular expressions; IP protocol.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Capable knowledge in: Epic Bridges; FHIR; Intersystems HealthConnect Cloud (IHCC); File transfer standards (FTP, SFTP); Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute validation steps for new system integrations; create and review integration validation protocols and test scripts.
• Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot anomalies during testing.
• Verify data accuracy during system updates, migrations, vendor upgrades, and initial builds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional design and validation teams to develop testing scripts and use cases.
• Coordinate implementation of new and revised testing scripts with IT, vendors, consultants, and customers.
• Ensure best practices and SOPs are followed; participate in testing events.
