Job summary

Lee Health is seeking an Advanced Application Analyst to optimize Epic Beaker workflows across clinical laboratories. This role emphasizes expert configuration, testing, and collaboration with pathologists, technologists, and IT teams to ensure seamless instrument integration and data integrity.

The ideal candidate will have Epic Beaker certification or proficiency, a strong medical technology background, and relevant experience supporting healthcare applications and middleware integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or 5+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Epic Beaker Certification or proficiency required.
• 5+ years experience supporting healthcare applications.
• Experience supporting laboratory middleware and instrument integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology workflows to support lab operations.
• Provide advanced application support for Epic Beaker and integrated lab systems.
• Collaborate with lab leadership, pathologists, and clinical staff to analyze workflow needs and implement system improvements.
• Support instrument connectivity, interface troubleshooting, and data integrity across lab systems.
• Participate in Epic upgrades, testing cycles, and new functionality implementation.
• Develop and execute test plans for system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot incidents impacting lab workflows and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure applications meet CLIA, CAP, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide consultation and technical guidance to lab and IT stakeholders.
• Maintain system documentation, build standards, and operating procedures.
• Support and troubleshoot laboratory middleware and instrument interfaces including: WellSky HCLL, RALS, Rapidcomm, Data Innovations / Instrument Manager.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Information Systems, or related field
