Inova Health in Northern Virginia seeks an Epic Certified Systems Analyst to join the Beacon team. This full-time, remote-eligible role maintains EpicCare systems, supports end users, and optimizes workflows with IT and clinical staff.

Responsibilities include system investigations, change management, and ensuring interfaces meet business needs. The ideal candidate will obtain Epic Beacon Certification within six months and bring a related associate degree or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

Epic Beacon Certification within six months of hire.
Associate degree or 2 years healthcare experience.
Experience with EpicCare systems and hospital workflows.
Strong communication with clinical users.

Responsibilities

Maintains and implements EpicCare systems and databases to optimize performance and support EpicCare releases.
Assists in system investigations to determine feasibility, cost and alternative solutions including enhancements.
Serves as an applications support contact to troubleshoot problems and optimize user experiences.
Analyzes business operations related to build decisions and ensures data interfaces meet business needs.
Resolves problems, communicates status and escalates issues to management in a timely manner.
Analyzes IT processes and stays up to date on current programming tools/methodologies.
Participates in ongoing maintenance following Change Management procedures.
Determines new procedures for maximizing benefits from automated systems.
