UnitedHealth Group is seeking an EOHS Risk Governance Compliance Assessor to support regulatory governance, compliance assurance, and risk-informed oversight across assigned businesses. The role collaborates with stakeholders to interpret EOHS requirements, ensure adherence to standards, and drive continuous improvement in safety programs.

Remote West/Midwest with some in-office requirements; candidates may travel up to 25% and will report to the Compliance Assurance Manager, EOHS Risk,

Qualifications

4+ years of EOHS experience in private/public sector.
2+ years of compliance adherence/assessment of EOHS management systems, programs, and procedures.
Understanding of OSHA programs and EOHS regulations relevant to healthcare.
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel up to 25% and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform regulatory compliance assessments for assigned businesses to define applicable program requirements.
Maintain knowledge of EOHS rules and regulations across country, federal, state, and local levels.
Respond to regulatory and customer information requests by gathering supporting documentation.
Identify compliance gaps and develop CAPs with business and EOHS teams.
Monitor CAPs and report on progress, including overdue items and trends.
Develop tools, SOPs, templates, and training to support the compliance program.
