Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Environmental Services Supervisor for a remote-first role in healthcare facilities. You will lead infection prevention, waste management, and staff training across sites while maintaining compliance and high safety standards.

You will develop and supervise environmental programs, manage a remote team, and collaborate with infection control and facilities to ensure patient safety and operational integrity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in environmental services leadership within healthcare.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare sanitation standards and infection control.
• Proven ability to develop and implement cleaning and disinfection programs.
• Strong remote leadership and performance management skills.
• Familiarity with hazardous waste management and disposal procedures.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Eligible for relevant infection control or environmental services certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve environmental services policies with a focus on infection control.
• Lead, train, and manage remote teams to ensure protocol adherence.
• Conduct virtual and on-site assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee waste management and disposal practices for hazardous and non-hazardous streams.
• Monitor inventory and optimize usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Design and deliver training on infection prevention and chemical safety.
• Maintain records of schedules, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with infection control, facilities, and clinical staff on safety measures.
