Bowman is seeking an Environmental Scientist III to join our team remotely. The role focuses on land development projects, wetlands delineations, endangered species inventories, and securing permits while coordinating with federal, state, and local agencies.

Responsibilities include leading complex field assessments, preparing reports, budgets, and bid summaries, and driving business development to grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field is required.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Wetland delineation experience required.
• Registered Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) preferred.
• Five+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex environmental projects from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and staff to meet project objectives.
• Mentor junior staff and support marketing efforts to win new work.
• Conduct field assessments and data collection across diverse terrains.
• Prepare designs, specs, plans, cost estimates, and reports.
• Manage project budgets, scopes, and timelines.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure project profitability.
• Prepare proposals and manage contracts with clients.
