Job summary

Stratus is seeking an Environmental Science Intern in New York (Remote) to support environmental assessments, permitting, compliance, remediation and sustainability projects. You will gain hands-on exposure to field data collection, environmental regulations, and technical reporting while working with a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll contribute to project delivery, coordinate with engineers and scientists, and develop practical skills in data analysis and technical communication within a leading

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Completion of relevant environmental, science, engineering, or technical coursework.
Basic understanding of environmental principles and regulatory concepts.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical research or data tools.

Responsibilities

Assist with environmental reports, assessments, permit materials, research, and project documentation.
Support field activities such as sampling, site observations, surveys, and data collection.
Help evaluate environmental conditions, compliance requirements, and potential mitigation measures.
