Job summary

Verdantas is seeking an Environmental Project Manager. This remote role is open to candidates in New York and will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver environmental projects on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science, 8–15 years of PM experience, and NY licensure (P.G. and/or P.E.). Strong communication and data‑driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science.
• 8–15 years of Project Management experience.
• Licensed P.G. or P.E. in New York.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure compliance with NYS/NYC environmental regulations and DER/Regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to winning proposals.
• Monitor financial metrics and project performance to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure quality consistent with standards.
• Coordinate safety practices and foster a culture of safety within teams.
