Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a project-focused environmental professional to lead and manage due diligence, environmental monitoring, and reporting for diverse real estate, industrial, and public sector projects in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes knowledge of environmental regulations, client communication, and team mentorship, with a strong track record in delivering high-quality deliverables and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4-8 years of experience in site investigation and remediation, with 2-6 years of project management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of New Jersey environmental laws, regulations, and general practices; experience in ASTM transactional due diligence strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of due diligence assessment, environmental monitoring, and reporting activities for multiple projects.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with peers, clients, and vendors to develop scopes of work, proposals, and deliverables.
• Manage field and peer staff, subcontractors, client representatives, and other stakeholders to develop and meet project schedules, milestones, and budgets.
• Track project budgets and evaluate project profitability.
• Train, supervise, and mentor project staff.
• Prepare, oversee, and review reports demonstrating site model development and technical writing.
• Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations and practices.
