Job summary

BSNC is seeking a Project Manager to lead environmental and engineering projects, with a strong focus on government contracts and complex schedules. Remote work is available, and the role requires overseeing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of project management experience in environmental sectors, familiarity with federal contracting requirements, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or closely related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years managing environmental or engineering projects including scope, schedule, budget, and client communications.
• Experience with federal agencies (USACE, DoD, EPA, etc.) and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of environmental investigation, remediation, compliance, and restoration projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Government PM, KO, COR and clients.
• Manage multiple projects including planning, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Coordinate technical staff and subcontractors for efficient execution.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement and compliance.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, implement corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly progress reports with status and costs.
• Review deliverables for quality and contract compliance.
• Facilitate meetings and mentor staff.
