Job summary
Blattner Company seeks a Lead Environmental Manager to provide environmental compliance leadership across major projects, including renewable energy, nuclear, and gas facilities. You will coordinate with owners, developers, and regulators to ensure regulatory adherence and effective environmental risk management.
The role is remote with travel to project sites, requiring strong expertise in NEPA, CWA/Section 404, ESA, NHPA/Section 106, CAA, SPCC, SWPPP/NPDES, and environmental performance
Qualifications
- Experience leading environmental compliance across multiple large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEPA, CWA, ESA, NHPA, CAA, SWPPP/NPDES requirements.
- Experience coordinating with owners, developers, and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- Provide environmental compliance oversight across concurrent major projects (renewables, nuclear, gas).
- Direct environmental consultants and subcontractors, including scope, budget, and schedules.
- Collaborate on permitting strategy and environmental risk mitigation from development through construction closeout.
- Review permits and regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules.
- Develop and monitor SWPPPs, SPCC plans, and other site-specific environmental plans.
- Conduct audits and site inspections, addressing non-conformances with timely corrective action.
