Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking an Environmental Specialist to perform remote work in the Southern Indiana area. The Project Environmental Specialist will conduct stormwater and other regulated waters compliance monitoring, erosion and sediment control inspections, and document environmental resources for energy projects, with field emphasis.

The role involves data compilation, weekly reports, and permitting documents, about 90% field work and 10% office work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or similar field.
• Advanced technical writing ability.
• Willingness to travel within Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
• Driver's License required.
• Experience with erosion and sedimentation control monitoring is preferred.
• 90% field work with 10% office work.

Responsibilities

• Complete field inspections for erosion control and environmental monitoring.
• Assist with data collection and wetland delineations.
