Job summary

North Wind Site Services in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Environmental Scientist/Chemical Data Validator II to review data from subcontract laboratories and ensure EPA, DOE, and DoD guidelines are met.

You will prepare validation reports, manage workloads, and coordinate with project teams to meet data quality objectives while contributing to a collaborative, office-based environment.

Prior lab experience and knowledge of analytical methods, QA/QC, and data qualification practices are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in environmental science or chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of scientific study principles, field investigation, sampling, QA of chemical measurements, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Validate analytical chemistry data following national standards and company procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive data validation reports and checklists with findings.
• Operate databases and spreadsheets efficiently.
• Monitor workloads and manage backlog to meet due dates.
• Communicate with peers and supervisors in a timely, effective manner.
