Job summary

North Wind Site Services is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Chemical Data Validator II to review subcontracted analytical lab data, ensuring alignment with EPA, DOE, and DoD guidelines and project plans. The role emphasizes QA/QC, meticulous data handling, and timely data validation reporting.

The candidate will prepare validated data reports, manage workloads, and collaborate across teams to meet client requirements, often in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• BS in environmental, chemistry or related field or 3–5 years equivalent lab experience.
• Knowledge of scientific study principles, field investigation, sampling, QA of chemical measurements, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Validate analytical chemistry data to national standards and company procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive data validation reports and checklists with findings.
• Operate databases and spreadsheets quickly and accurately.
• Monitor workloads and manage backlog to meet due dates.
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
