Job summary

The lecturer will teach courses in the Entry Level Plumbing certificate, conduct lectures and labs, relate instruction to objectives, and maintain high teaching excellence through student interaction.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, ensuring lab readiness, evaluating student progress, recording records, and assisting the Program Director with equipment

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of residential plumbing experience.
• 1 year of supervisory or training experience.
• Demonstrates command of plumbing theory and practice.
• Genuine interest in helping students.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Entry Level Plumbing certificate; conduct lectures, discussions, and teaching activities.
• Relate instruction and material to course objectives; maintain high level of excellence in teaching.
• Prepare materials needed for instruction and ensure readiness of facilities for class activities; evaluate and report students’ progress; assign and assist on class projects.
• Keep student records and adhere to course schedules; assist Program Director with equipment and lab needs.
