Job summary

Hartville is seeking an entry-level Insurance Agent (Sales Focused) who will report to the Supervisor, Sales. Agents assist customers by providing information about pet insurance products, answer questions, and demonstrate value of coverage to protect pets.

Role is remote in the USA with a focus on sales targets, client engagement, and ongoing training to strengthen product knowledge and service delivery. Benefits include healthcare and parental leave.

Qualifications

• 2 years of sales, call center, or relevant experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain Property & Casualty License, or must obtain within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributes to solution innovation, sales efforts, and retention strategies.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals by turning leads into customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients by providing information about pet insurance.
• Provide support to clients in the claims process and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
• Maintain understanding of federal and state regulations to include compliance.
• Respond to inquiries within stated service level agreements.
