The position emphasizes accuracy with tasks like data entry, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, invoice preparation, and routine financial analysis, plus support for the Finance & Accounting team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; coursework or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is a plus
• Previous accounting or finance experience is helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote-work environment
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic accounting and financial recordkeeping tasks
• Enter, review, and maintain financial data accurately
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Reconcile financial records and identify discrepancies
• Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
• Assist with spreadsheets, reports, and routine financial analysis
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information
• Communicate professionally with team members and, when applicable, clients or vendors
• Follow established accounting procedures and company policies
• Support the Finance & Accounting team with additional administrative tasks as needed
