Applied Digital is seeking an Enterprise Network Engineer II with professional-level certification (JNCIP-ENT/CCNP) and 5–7 years of experience to join our remote infrastructure team. The role requires travel 30–40% and focuses on enterprise routing, switching, firewall, and wireless networks across a data-center–driven environment.

The ideal candidate will contribute to automation efforts and evolve skills in advanced technologies while supporting hybrid AI-driven workloads.

Qualifications

• JNCIP-ENT, CCNP, or equivalent professional-level certification.
• 5–7 years of enterprise network experience.
• Solid understanding of OSPF, BGP, and ISIS.
• Experience configuring/troubleshooting Juniper SRX and Fortinet firewalls.
• Knowledge of switching including MP-BGP EVPN, VXLAN, VLANs, STP, LACP.
• Experience with enterprise Wi‑Fi networks and security protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring/troubleshooting tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, ISIS across the enterprise network.
• Configure and support multi-vendor firewall platforms including Juniper and Fortinet.
• Deploy and manage Routing & Switching infrastructure from vendors including Juniper and Cisco.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless networks to ensure reliable Wi‑Fi coverage.
• Troubleshoot network issues and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex problems.
• Assist in the development and implementation of network automation.
• Perform network changes following established change management procedures.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Participating in network projects and technology refresh initiatives.
• Provide support during on‑call rotation for critical infrastructure and occasional off‑hours maintenance windows.
