Job summary

PAR Technology is seeking a Project Manager to lead enterprise restaurant technology deployment projects. You will oversee internal and external teams, coordinate with customers, vendors, and partners, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery across multiple deployments in a remote-capable role across the United States.

The role requires 5+ years in restaurant tech or restaurant management, strong project management experience, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in restaurant management or the restaurant technology industry.
• 5+ years of experience working directly within the enterprise customer space.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and processes.
• Natural ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to resolve project resource challenges.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage enterprise deployment projects with full accountability for successful delivery.
• Establish and maintain cross-functional project leadership with customers, vendors, and third-party consultants to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Identify and manage issues, risks, project dependencies, milestones, and the critical path to achieve projected outcomes.
• Define, verify, and control project scope and negotiate scope changes with customers.
• Direct, motivate, and lead project team members.
• Manage exceptions and elevate issues that affect deployment projects.
• Attend and facilitate meetings with PAR colleagues, customers, and third-party vendors.
• Provide real-time and scheduled project updates through reporting, meetings, and dashboards.
• Maintain current knowledge of project status and remain prepared to communicate updates at all times.
• Stay actively engaged with stakeholders to support on-time project delivery.
• Leverage AI tools to identify project risks and dependencies, summarize project activity, improve status reporting and documentation, and support data-informed planning while maintaining appropriate human review and judgment.
