Job summary

Data Society Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of a complex enterprise software implementation. You will coordinate onshore and offshore teams, maintain the program plan, and manage risks and stakeholder communications.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will own status reporting, manage dependencies, and ensure governance across all workstreams. This 9-month W2 role offers remote work with biweekly on-site visits to Falls Church, VA, and

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of project management experience with at least 3 years in enterprise software delivery.
• Demonstrable experience running hybrid onshore/offshore delivery teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong proficiency with Jira, sprint management, backlog grooming, reporting, and dashboard configuration.
• Proven experience managing risk and issue logs, program plans, and delivery governance on multi-workstream programs.
• Solid understanding of agile delivery methodologies, sprint ceremonies, velocity tracking, and iterative delivery cadences.
• Experience contributing to client-facing status reports and stakeholder communications.
• Experience coordinating with third-party technology implementation teams on project dependencies and integration touchpoints.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot) to assist with documentation drafting and status reporting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear, concise status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to track multiple workstreams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with bi-weekly sprint cycles.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Team & Schedule Management: manage day-to-day project tracking across workstreams and maintain the program plan.
• Risk Management & Governance: track risks/issues, enforce RACI, and maintain governance cadence.
• Sprint Operations & Team Coordination: oversee sprint planning, velocity tracking, and backlog hygiene.
• Technology Implementation Alignment: coordinate with the tech team on dependencies and touchpoints.
• Reporting & Documentation: draft client-facing and internal status reports and maintain program artifacts.
• Onboarding, Scope & Readiness Support: manage access, environments, and readiness for new team members.
