Cognizant is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead strategic design, governance, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure across large IT environments. This role focuses on defining current-state, transition-state, and future-state architectures while aligning with business goals and technology strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 16 to 20 years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture or related fields.
• Experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong expertise across data center, database, storage, backup, and disaster recovery domains.
• Proven ability to establish architecture frameworks, standards, governance, and roadmaps.

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain current-state, transition-state, and target-state enterprise architectures.
• Develop and govern architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps for data center, database, storage, backup, and DR environments.
• Lead architecture assessments for infrastructure transformation, cloud adoption, modernization, and lifecycle management.
• Evaluate solutions and provide architectural recommendations on scalability, performance, security, availability, and cost.
• Ensure designs meet resilience, continuity, capacity planning, compliance, risk, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Drive technology selection, vendor evaluations, and PoC activities for strategic investments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture throughout project lifecycles.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation and decision records.
• Provide senior leadership and guidance during complex incidents and major upgrades.
• Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
