Job summary

Cognizant seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead strategic design, governance, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure across data center, storage, backup, and cloud initiatives. You will define current-state, transition-state, and future-state architectures aligned with business objectives.

You will collaborate with business leaders, engineering, security, and vendors to ensure architecture standards, roadmaps, and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of data center, storage, backup, and disaster recovery domains.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and strategic roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain current-state, transition-state, and target-state architectures across data center, storage, and cloud.
• Develop architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead architecture assessments for modernization, cloud adoption, and lifecycle management.
• Provide architectural guidance during incidents and major upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure governance and alignment with business objectives.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation and decision records.
