Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced Enterprise AI Architect to lead Azure AI engagements with large-scale clients across the United States. You will define architectures, set standards, govern security and governance, and drive ROI-driven design.

You will collaborate with data engineers, application teams, and business leaders to ensure measurable business value through scalable AI deployments and mature deployment lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise or solution architecture experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI Service and Azure ML.
• Proven track record defining and governing end-to-end AI architectures at enterprise scale.
• Strong grounding in enterprise data platforms and cloud-native design principles.
• Experience in client-facing consulting with executive stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the architectural vision and direction for AI engagements, establishing design standards.
• Lead architecture design workshops and strategy sessions with client stakeholders.
• Advise clients on Azure AI capabilities, use case prioritization, and roadmaps.
• Mentor delivery team members and contribute to practice development.
• Define and govern complete Azure AI architectures spanning Azure OpenAI Service and Azure ML.
• Map AI use cases to measurable business value and ROI.
• Develop reference architectures, integration patterns, and technical blueprints.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders and drive end-to-end delivery.
• Identify and manage technical risks with clear mitigations.
