Job summary

University of California, Berkeley is seeking an Enterprise Architect for AI-Integrated Collaboration Services. You will define the technical strategy, architecture, and service roadmap for campus-wide SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Box, and Microsoft 365, with AI-enabled capabilities.

You'll provide leadership on security, privacy, accessibility, and compliance, drive integration work, and partner with campus units and vendors to deliver reliable, scalable collaboration services

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of SaaS, identity management, APIs, AI for productivity, and integrations.
• Knowledge of software selection, implementation, and maintenance.
• Ability to translate business needs into architecture solutions.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS services and IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Redesigns configurations and integrations for SaaS collaboration platforms to improve security and usability.
• Designs and deploys large-scale SaaS platforms and integrations with campus systems.
• Defines architecture, security controls, and recovery requirements for enterprise SaaS and AI services.
• Provides consultative guidance on SaaS deployments and campus technology choices.
• Ensures compliance with security standards and policies.
