Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks a Senior AI Architect - Enterprise Integrations to lead AI-driven integration engagements. You will design, implement, and scale AI agent interactions across CRM, ERP, data platforms, and tools, ensuring secure, observable, and reliable outcomes.

You’ll shape practice offerings, mentor architects, and guide delivery across client projects, with a focus on cost-aware, scalable architectures and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in application or solution architecture with AI/ML focus
• Hands-on with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers
• Proven AI agent integration with enterprise systems
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar
• Strong API design and event-driven patterns
• Experience with major LLM providers and their APIs
• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript
• Consulting or professional services background

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership and develop AI integration strategy within the firm
• Lead discovery, design, and architecture sessions with clients
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI-powered solutions
• Deliver cost-aware architecture with model selection, prompting, and caching
• Present architectural recommendations to exec and technical stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade AI solutions
• Architect integrations between AI agents and enterprise systems
• Establish semantic data layer and patterns for orchestration, memory, and human-in-the-loop
• Design MCP gateway/servers exposing data, tools, and APIs as context
• Ensure security, observability, and reliability, work from anywhere in the US
