Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions in Des Moines, IA seeks an Architect, Enterprise AI to design and govern the AI architecture across the enterprise. You will partner with EA, Platform, Data, and Product teams to define scalable AI patterns and governance frameworks enabling responsible and secure AI.

The role requires 10+ years in software or architecture with 5+ years in AI/ML, deep hands-on skills in C#, React, Python, and experience with AI governance, MLOps/LLMOps, and enterprise integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development or architecture with 5+ years in AI/ML.
• Experience defining enterprise AI architecture patterns and AI-enabled apps.
• Experience with AI governance, regulatory compliance, and guardrails.
• Proven ability to evaluate AI platforms, LLM providers, and orchestration tools.
• Experience with AI integration across APIs, data platforms and cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps/LLMOps, deployment, monitoring and lifecycle.
• Strong collaboration with enterprise teams to enable AI adoption.
• Advanced development skills in C#, React and Python.
• Knowledge of PBM or healthcare data exchange is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise AI architecture strategy and reference architectures.
• Establish AI patterns for generative AI, agentic workflows, and RAG integration.
• Develop AI governance frameworks and architectural guardrails.
• Define AI platform strategy and evaluate providers and tooling.
• Establish AI integration patterns with enterprise platforms and cloud services.
• Define asset security, privacy, and cost management practices for AI.
• Oversee AI operations practices (MLOps/LLMOps) including deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with architecture, platform, data, and product teams to drive adoption.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible AI standards and regulatory requirements.
