Job summary

DWC ERISA Consultants LLC is seeking an Enrolled Actuary to support small plan administration from inception to termination. The EA will review work by plan consultants, consult on complex issues, and handle projects from sales projections to plan termination filings.

The role requires 5+ years in defined benefit administration and an Enrolled Actuary certification (or near enrollment). Remote work is available with a strong client-service culture and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Actuary certification (or nearing enrollment) required or pursued.
• 5+ years of defined benefit plan administration experience.
• Strong client-service mindset and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign government filings (Form 5500 with Schedule SBs, PBGC premiums, 8955-SSA).
• Review annual regulatory compliance testing for complex plans.
• Review and communicate actuarial valuation results.
• Maintain turnaround times to meet client requirements and department standards.
• Deliver participant funding notices and AFTAP certifications.
• Provide benefit calculations and projections including QDROs and RMDs.
• Demonstrate proficiency with actuarial software and be a resource to Analysts.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ERISA requirements.
• Consult on major plan sponsor decisions (updates, termination, funding).
• Prepare and submit plan termination filings (PBGC forms, IRS Form 5310) and respond to audits.
• Potentially train actuarial analysts/consultants.
