The role emphasizes combo (DB/DC) plan expertise and collaboration with actuarial, support, and development teams to enhance software features. The successful candidate will have EA designation (or current enrollment), 5+ years in retirement plans, and strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to clients.

Qualifications

• EA designation required, with current enrollment status.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retirement plan administration, with a focus on combo plans (DB/DC).
• Strong understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations applicable to small retirement plans.
• Proven ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to non-actuarial audiences.
• Experience working with retirement plan software platforms and contributing to feature development.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis tools.
• Prior experience in a client-facing support role.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on combo plan design, compliance, and administration
• Support customer inquiries and troubleshoot plan-specific issues with precision and clarity
• Collaborate with software developers to propose and refine features that enhance plan administration tools
• Participate in testing and validation of new software functionalities, ensuring actuarial accuracy and usability
• Contribute to training materials and client education initiatives related to retirement plan features
• Assist in interpreting regulatory changes and translating them into actionable system updates
• Offer insights during product planning sessions to align actuarial needs with technical capabilities
